Plot: Four years after defeating Majin Buu, Goku is seen working as a farmer and his family and friends are all shown leading peaceful lives. However, after a long period of sleep, Beerus, the God of Destruction, awakens. Beerus and Whis, his Angel assistant and mentor, are looking for a combatant known as the Super Saiyan God. Beerus has sworn to exterminate all life on Earth if this opponent is victorious. With the help of his allies, Goku grows to the Super Saiyan God level, faces off against Beerus, and finally loses. Despite this, Beerus is placated by Goku’s acts and spares the planet.

Then, as Goku and Vegeta are in training with Whis as their trainer, the other members of Frieza’s army gather the Dragon Balls in order to resurrect Frieza. Following his training, Frieza returns to Earth to take his revenge. Even though Golden Frieza has attained the Golden Frieza metamorphosis, Goku and Vegeta, both of whom have perfected the Super Saiyan Blue transformation, are nevertheless able to defeat him. Whis is able to reverse time so that Goku can fight Frieza, who had planned to end the world in retaliation.

Beerus agrees to arrange a competition that puts the best warriors from each of their worlds against one another when Champa, his brother and the God of Destruction of Universe Six, persuades him. The Super Dragon Balls, which are planet-sized and have nearly infinite power to grant wishes, will be given to the tournament winner as their reward. Champa wants to swap the barren world of Universe Six for the lush planet of Universe Seven so they can eat their food. Goku and his friends agreed to participate in the contest. The tournament’s most crucial bout is regarded as taking place between Goku and Hit. Due to his inability to match Hit’s might, Goku forfeits the fight. Hit withdraws from the championship match, giving Universe Seven the victory. In Universe Six, Beerus is desperate for the Super Dragon Balls to revive the planet Earth.

Goku meets and befriends Lord Zen, the supreme being who rules over all worlds, and swears to bring him a companion. After some time has passed, Future Trunks shows up and informs everyone of the existence of an enemy known as Goku Black, who resembles Goku. They conclude that Zamasu, an apprentice of the Supreme Kai from Universe 10, is actually Goku Black, a.k.a. In order to complete his mission of eradicating all humankind, Zamasu used the Super Dragon Balls to steal Goku’s body from a prior timeline. [6] In the end, Goku is assisted by Future Zen to return to the present, where he befriends Present Zen. As a result, Zamasu and the subsequent chronology are erased from existence. Trunks of the Future leaves for a different timeline.

The Tournament of Power will be held on both Zens after some time has passed. Eight out of the twelve worlds are represented by teams of combatants in this tournament, and the losing universes are eliminated.
